In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 100, he faced Quintin Bray and defeated him via technical knockout in round two. Rentz defeated Tyler Keating via TKO in the first round at CFFC 119. Then at CFFC 122, he defeated Ferraris Golden Jr via technical knockout in round one. Rentz defeated Gabriel Morales via TKO in the second round at CFFC 133.
In the co-main event on the main card of CFFC 141, he defeated Shane Mistretta via technical knockout in round two.
