Just in the past year, OKTAGON has raised the bar even higher – selling out football stadiums twice (Eden in Prague and Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt) and surpassing the 100,000 live attendee mark within the first nine months of 2025. “We are constantly striving to move forward. The appetite for OKTAGON’s MMA is huge, and our fanbase keeps growing. But our ambitions don’t stop here – Ondřej and I still haven’t fulfilled all of our dreams. The sky is the limit!” adds co-owner, Pavol Neruda. Over nine years, OKTAGON has transformed from a local promotion into a European phenomenon. It’s very first event, OKTAGON 1, took place on December 10, 2016 in Prague’s small Královka arena with a capacity of just 1,300 fans. Since then, the promotion has undergone tremendous growth and has already attracted nearly three-quarters of a million people to it’s shows. OKTAGON continues to confirm its position as one of the fastest-growing sports organisations in Europe. The next stop is Bratislava on October 4, where OKTAGON 77 will take place, featuring the semifinals of the €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger tournament and performances from top local stars. It will also be the most high-level card, in terms of global fighter rankings, that OKTAGON has ever staged in Bratislava. |
