Becoming a complete mixed martial artist often requires consistently adding new weapons to your arsenal while pushing past the demons of the outside world, in addition to trying things you would have never done because of a past trauma or self-fear. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a cannonball of chaotic wreckage ready to send a warning sizzle shot and become the latest in Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series breakthrough blasters at Middleweight in the UFC. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2024 and representing Gnosis Combat Sports, Donte Johnson holds a 7-0 record consisting of six knockouts and one submission. Johnson earned his UFC contract on week three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season nine in 2025. He has never gone to the scorecards over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it through seven appearances in the professional ranks. He has fought for various organizations throughout his professional journey including Fury Fighting Championship. Johnson has finished all seven of his victories and is 1-0 under the UFC banner. The majority of his finishes have come in the opening round. Johnson’s only UFC finish thus far has come in round two.

In his professional MMA debut, he defeated Gabriel Sayeg via technical knockout in round one. Johnson also defeated Deontre Butts via TKO in the first round. Then at NAFC Super Brawl, he defeated Jordan Seufzer via TKO in round one. Johnson defeated Ryan Parker at North Iowa Fights 21 via technical knockout in the first round. He knocked out James Ford in round one at Fury Fighting Championship Challenger Series 14. Johnson defeated Darion Abbey via TKO in the first round in the opening bout of DWTNCS week three of season nine to score his sixth knockout win as a professional alongside a UFC contract.

At UFC On ESPN Plus 121, he submitted Sedriques Dumas in the second round to secure the first submission victory along with win number one in the UFC and a Performance of the Night bonus. He also notched his seventh consecutive win to start his career as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. When Johnson is locked in, there is zero chance of altering his mission-oriented mindset!
