A professional mixed martial artist since May 2021 and representing her nation of France, Awa Sow sports a 3-3-1 record in six outings consisting of one knockout, one submission one decision and a draw. Sow has fought for various organizations throughout her arc as a professional MMA fighter including Cage Warriors and Hexagone MMA. Her one and only decision victory has resulted in a split decision verdict over a span of three rounds and a timeframe of 15 minutes. Both of Sow’s finishes inside the professional ranks have come inside of two rounds. She has scored a finish in two out of her three total wins through six professional appearances during her journey so far.
In her professional MMA debut at Soko Fighting Championship 1, she faced off against Miriam Santana and defeated her via a split decision to notch her lone decision win as a professional. Sow also defeated Elsa Hemat via technical knockout in the second round at Hexagone MMA 16 to pick up her sole knockout victory as a professional. Then at Hexagone MMA 21, she submitted Monika Zielinska in round two via rear-naked choke. The win scored Sow the first submission victory of her professional career. She also earned her third victory as a professional mixed martial artist in the process overall.
