The flyweight and featherweight divisions of the UFC are bursting at their seams with hungry lions waiting for the perfect moment to make their move. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet two dangerous prospects whose deadly arsenals have put their respective divisions on high alert.

Roberto Sanchez –A professional since February 2015 and representing Gracie Barra Texas and Etre Fit, Roberto Sanchez owns an 8-1 record in nine career bouts consisting of seven submissions and one decision.Prior to making his UFC debut in 2017, Sanchez competed for Legacy Fighting Alliance. He is also a Legacy Fighting Championship veteran. In his MMA debut at Legacy FC 39, he defeated Jacob Silva via unanimous decision. Then Sanchez submitted Trent Meaux in the first round via armbar at Legacy FC 42. He also tapped out Mike DeLeon via rear naked choke at Legacy FC 44. At Legacy FC 50, Sanchez submitted David Acosta in the third round via rear naked choke. In his final appearance with Legacy FC at Legacy FC 55, he tapped out David Waters in the first round via rear naked choke at. For his LFA debut at LFA 7, Sanchez took on fellow submission specialist Klayton Mai and defeated him in the second round via rear naked choke. In the main event of LFA 14, Sanchez submitted Jerome Rivera via armbar in the third round to capture the LFA flyweight title. In his second UFC appearance at UFN 126, he submitted Joby Sanchez via rear naked choke in round one to earn his first victory with the UFC. When Sanchez takes you to the ground it’s a wrap!

Cory Sandhagen –A professional since May 2015 and representing Elevation Fight Team, Cory Sandhagen owns an 8-1 record in nine career bouts consisting of three knockouts, two submissions and three decisions. Prior to making his UFC debut in 2018, Sandhagen competed for LFA. In his MMA debut, he submitted Bruce Sessman via rear naked choke in round one. Then Sandhagen defeated Andrew Tenneson at RFA 34 via unanimous decision. He defeated his next two opponents in Josh Huber and Dalton Goddard. At RFA 43, Sandhagen defeated Clay Wimer via unanimous decision. In his second LFA outing at LFA 24, he defeated Toninho Gavinho via TKO in the first round. In his final LFA appearance at LFA 31, Sandhagen defeated Jose Aguayo via TKO in round one. For his UFC debut at UFC on Fox 27, he faced Austin Arnett and defeated him via TKO in the second round. Sandhagen is set to bury the featherweight division in an avalanche!
