A professional since January 2015 and representing Barata MMA, Bryce Mitchell holds a perfect 10-0 record comprised of eight submissions and two decisions. Mitchell was featured on TUF 27 as a member of Team DC and has also fought for WSOF, RFA and V3 Fights.
In his MMA debut at V3 Fights, he submitted Sheldon Smith via rear naked choke in the first round. Mitchell also tapped out his next two opponents in Tony Williams and Jessie Sanderson. Then he submitted Chris Culley via armbar in the first round. For his debut outing with World Series of Fighting at WSOF 27, Mitchell tapped out Jorge Medina in round one via rear naked choke. He submitted Bobby Taylor in the first round via triangle choke. In his second appearance with World Series of Fighting at WSOF 33, Mitchell tapped out Brandon Philips via triangle choke in round two. At V3 Fights 56, he submitted Issac Ware via rear naked choke in the first round. In his final appearance for V3 Fights at V3 Fights 60 Mitchell defeated Jose Mariscal via unanimous decision. In 2018 he was selected to be a part of the TUF 27 cast at featherweight and was the second featherweight selection of Team DC. In episode four Mitchell defeated Jay Cucciniello via unanimous decision to advance to the semi-finals.
In his official UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 27 finale, he defeated fellow teammate Tyler Diamond via majority decision to extend his perfect streak to 10 to begin his professional career. At just 23 years of age and with eight of his 10 career wins ending in a finish, ”Thug Nasty” is showing the MMA world that country boys can take a licking and still keep on ticking!
