People will always have different views of which fighters are the greatest, as a lifetime fan of Mixed Martial Arts and of the UFC I devised a points system so I could see statistically which fighters had had the most success in the UFC.
I have broken this down by every weight class in the UFC and also overall. Over the next few weeks, I will do the top 10 for each division and then the top 10 overall. The point system rewards fighters who have been active in the UFC, who have been involved in big fights and also fighters that are exciting.
Fighters who fight higher up a fight card earn more points, fighters who finish fights earn more points fighters who win UFC bonuses earn more points, fighters in title fights earn more points.
So, we will start with the top 10 UFC heavyweights of all time: (these stats run from UFC 1 to the latest UFC event (Cejudo v Dillashaw)
