Under the expert guidance of Scott Coker, Bellator MMA has returned to its foundational roots where the stars of tomorrow are center stage. In today’s episode of Across The Pond,  you will meet a steamroller of prolonged punishment whose pistons of power have him surging with full steam as the latest middleweight mauler for the promotion. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2017 and representing American Kickboxing Academy, Romero Cotton owns an undefeated 6-0 professional record comprised of three knockouts, two submissions, and one decision. Cotton has spent his whole tenure as a pro-MMA fighter with Bellator MMA so far. He is currently 6-0 under the Bellator MMA banner, with five finishes under his belt for the promotion. All five of Cotton’s finishes during his time in the professional ranks have come inside of two rounds. He has gone to the scorecards once during his pro career.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 181, he faced Aaron Rodriguez and went on to defeat him via a split decision. Cotton submitted Justin Reeser in the second round via rear-naked choke at Bellator 195. Then in his third appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 204, he defeated Willie Whitehead via TKO in the first round. Cotton defeated Jason Perotta via TKO in round one at Bellator 233. At Bellator 254, he tapped out Justin Sumter in the first round via rear-naked choke to earn his second submission win as a professional.

For his sixth outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 276, he defeated Freddy Sandoval via TKO in round one. The victory earned Cotton the third knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up win number six under the Bellator MMA banner in the process. At 6-0 with five finishes Cotton knocks all that attempt to impede his grind to the top flat as a pancake!
