Prospects from all across the globe have at long last struck it rich throughout the first six seasons of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the newest inductee of the global terror brigade ready to put opponents to the sword and bring in a fresh wave of South African slayers for the UFC. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2019 and representing Team CIT, Cameron Saaiman holds an undefeated 6-0 record comprised of four knockouts, one submission, and one decision. Saaiman earned his UFC contract on week five of season six of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2022 and has finished five out of his six wins during his career in the professional ranks. He has also fought for EFC, an MMA promotion based in his home nation of South Africa. Saaiman has only gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board in the distance. The majority of Saaiman’s finishes over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter have come inside of two rounds.
In his MMA debut at EFC 83, he defeated Corne Blom via TKO in round one. Saaiman also defeated Zwelibanzi Ngema via TKO in the second round at EFC 84. Then at EFC 85, he submitted Billy Oosthuizen in round two via rear-naked choke. Saaiman defeated Roevan De Beer via TKO in the first round at EFC 92. In the main event of EFC 94, he defeated Sindile Manengela via unanimous decision.
At DETNCS week five of the sixth season, he knocked out Josh Wang Kim in the third round. The victory earned Saaiman the fourth knockout win of his professional career along with a UFC contract in the process. With youthful looks and the potential to sling hands on the turn of a dime, Saaiman is a prospect whose sword cuts deep!
