A fighter’s heart becomes a true test of metal when even the best-laid gameplans become a plug-and-play chess match where skill often wins by the time your foe says checkmate. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a Pennsylvania pounder of molten metal ready to outslug the opposition in a battle of new-age heavyweights in the co-main event of LFA 144 on October 14 in the promotion’s return to the land of Rushmore on UFC Fight Pass. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2021 and representing Sanford MMA, Daiqwon Buckley holds an undefeated 3-0 record comprised of two decisions and one knockout. Buckley has fought for several promotions during his journey as a pro-MMA fighter including Legacy Fighting Alliance, Titan Fighting Championship, and PFL MMA. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his career in the professional ranks, winning on both occasions Buckley has a single finish in three appearances as a pro, with a time of one minute and 46 seconds. The one and only finish during Buckley’s career as a professional mixed martial artist has come within the second round.
In his MMA debut at LFA 120, he faced Royce White and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Buckley defeated Jon Cunningham via TKO in the second round at PFL Challenger Series 6 to earn his first knockout win as a professional. Then in his lone outing with Titan Fighting Championship at Titan FC 77, he defeated Dai’kwon Fuse via a split decision. The victory earned Buckley the second decision win of his professional career and also extended his unbeaten streak to three in the process.
For his second appearance under the LFA banner in the co-main event of LFA 144 on October 14, he will take on fellow unbeaten Jordan Heiderman in an all-action clash at heavyweight. Good luck Daiqwon!
