When it comes to the athletic profession, opportunities always present themselves even when the hand you are dealt does not pay off immediately. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a lion of golden light roaring and standing tall amongst the arid landscape in the show me state. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2021 and representing Marathon Mixed Martial Arts, Daniel Olajiga holds a 3-1 record through four contests comprised of two knockouts and one decision. Olajiga has fought for several organizations over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Fighting Alliance Championship and Legacy Fighting Alliance. The majority of Olajiga’s victories during his time in the professional ranks have come inside the opening round. He has gone to the scorecards once during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board on that occasion. Olajiga has also fought for Dynasty Combat Sports. He has two first-round finishes under his belt in four professional appearances thus far. Olajiga has finished two out of his three wins during his time as a professional mixed martial artist so far. The one and only decision win during his pro career has been via a unanimous verdict.

At Fight Hard MMA Springfield fight night 2, he defeated Tyler Johnson via technical knockout in the first round. Olajiga also defeated DeWayne Diggs via unanimous decision at Fighting Alliance Championship 16 to earn his first decision win as a professional.

Then in the co-main event of Dynasty Combat Sports 84, he defeated Zach Hughes via technical knockout in round one. The victory earned Olajiga the second knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up his second first-round finish in the process. Olajiga is a prospect that it is not how you start, but how you rebound that really counts!
