A professional mixed martial artist since November 2017 and representing Next Generation Liverpool, Matthew Camilleri owns a 6-1 record in seven bouts comprised of three knockouts and three decisions. Camilleri has fought for several promotions over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Almighty Fighting Championship and Full Contact Contender. He has finished three out of his six victories during his time in the professional ranks. Camilleri has gone to the scorecards three times during his pro career. All three of Camilleri’s finishes during his professional career have been inside the distance.
In his MMA debut at CFC Malta 2, he faced Gabriele Nicotra and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in the first round. Camilleri also defeated Enrico Manicaro via TKO in round one at CFC Malta 4. Then at Cage Warriors Academy Northwest 4, he defeated Harry McKnight via unanimous decision. Camilleri defeated Dan Gibbon via technical knockout in round three at Almighty Fighting Championship 18 to earn his third knockout win as a professional. He defeated Shoaib Yousaf via a split decision at Full Contact Contender 27.
In the main event of Full Contact Contender 29, Camilleri defeated Azi Thomas via unanimous decision. The win earned Camilleri the third decision victory of his professional career. With a host of impressive stablemates already having earned their spot in the decorated annals of the promotion, Camilleri is a golden cannon that is always prime for a fire fight the minute that the bell sounds for action!
