A professional mixed martial artist since October 2021 and representing Pura Vida BJJ and MMA, Wesley Schultz owns a 4-1 record in five contests comprised of three submissions and one decision. All three of his finishes during his time in the professional ranks have been inside of two rounds. He is 2-1 under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner with a single finish under his belt in three appearances with the organization to show for it. Shultz has finished three out of his four victories overall during his career as a professional MMA fighter. The majority of his wins throughout his time as a professional mixed martial artist have come via submission. The one and only decision victory during his professional career has come via a unanimous verdict. In his MMA debut at Pure Fighting Championships 20, he faced Victor Jones and submitted him in the first round via shoulder choke. Schultz defeated Hamza Salim via unanimous decision in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 131 via unanimous decision to secure his first decision win as a professional. Then at LFA 140, he tapped out Jonathan Kuntson via rear-naked choke in round two.
In the main event of GE Fights High Octane, Schultz submitted Zach Edington in the first round via rear-naked choke. The win scored Schultz the third submission victory of his professional career in addition to his fourth professional win overall in the process.
