A hard-fought victory is the ultimate reward for personal sacrifice for athletes who will do anything to achieve their professional goals no matter what the price tag comes to when all is said and done. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest graduate of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series looking to bleed flyweights bone dry in the big leagues of the UFC. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2019 and representing Fighter’s Land, Ernesta Kareckaite holds a 5-1-1 record through six outings comprised of three decisions, two knockouts and a draw. Kareckaite secured her contract from the UFC on week eight during the seventh installment of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2023. She fought for several promotions including Hexagone MMA prior to debuting with the UFC at UFC 301 in May 2024. Both of her finishes over the course of her career as a professional MMA fighter have been inside of a single round. Kareckaite has gone to the scorecards on three occasions during her career in the professional MMA ranks.

In her MMA debut, she defeated Tekle Iganashvili via technical knockout in round one. Kareckaite also defeated Klaudia Pawicka via TKO in the first round to score her second knockout win as a professional. Then at Hexagone MMA 4, she defeated Kate Bacik via a split decision. Kareckaite defeated Laetita Blot via a split decision at Hexagone MMA 6.

In the second contest of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series week eight of season seven, she defeated Carli Judice via a split decision to earn the third decision victory of her professional career along with a UFC contract. She also picked up her fifth win overall in the process. When victory is in sight, Kareckaite’s pressure leaves opponents struggling to tread water at either end of the pool!
