Undefeated Irish prospect Jack Corr will face Brazil’s Paulo ‘Guava’ Barbosa in a highly anticipated matchup at GladiatÉire FC in Belfast.

Corr, who boasts a perfect 2-0 professional record, will be aiming to extend his streak and secure his third consecutive stoppage win. He’ll face Barbosa, who enters the bout with a 1-1 pro record, at the Girdwood Sports Complex in Belfast.

Fighting out of ZKJ MMA in Belfast under the guidance of his father and head coach Danny Corr, the hometown fighter is a seasoned competitor with six IMMAF appearances, including a bronze medal at the 2018 European Championships. Corr made his professional debut in November 2023, securing a second-round KO victory over Aaron Brogan. One year later, in November 2024, Corr returned to action in the main event of Cage Gladiator, where Mikey McCoy’s corner called a stop to the fight after the first round.

Now, Corr is set to make it three wins in a row as he takes on Barbosa, who will be stepping into hostile territory with hopes of silencing the passionate Belfast crowd. Fighting out of Team Frota in Portugal, Barbosa is coming off an impressive KO victory over Joao Pinguinha at Strike Fight MMA, and he’s eager to keep his momentum going.

GladiatÉire Fighting Championship takes place on April 27th.
