Following his dominant performance over Edson Barboza on the weekend, Khabib ‘The Eagle’ Nurmagomedov has once again put himself in contention at the top of the lightweight division. Though the undefeated Russian wasn’t leaving until he’d discussed matters further with UFC president Dana White.
Dana White shared the photo on his Instagram, showing Nurmagamedov (25-0) waiting for him at his car after the event.
While it was unclear what was said between the pair, Nurmagomedov had strong words for lightweight champion Conor McGregor, and interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, labelling them “bulls**t guys,” in a post fight speech.
This meeting, along with his dominant victory at UFC 219, will do him no harm in getting one of those fights in 2018.
