Eastern Thunder – featuring CES MMA Heavyweight champion Greg Rebello

Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series was the toast of the town when it debuted on UFC Fight Pass in 2017. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an Eastern behemoth whose thunderous knockout power hopes to earn him a contract with the UFC at DWTNCS 3 on June 26. A professional since February 2005 and representing Team Sityodtong and Tri-Force MMA, Greg Rebello owns a 24-8 record in 32 professional bouts comprised of 15 knockouts, seven decisions and two submissions. Rebello has spent the bulk of his professional career with CES MMA and is the current CES MMA heavyweight champion. He also appeared on week one of season one of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2017.

In his MMA debut at Mass Destruction 19, Rebello defeated Eddie Knuckles via TKO in the second round. He defeated his next three opponents via TKO which included wins over Chris Deveno and Shawn DePaul. Then, Rebello defeated Cody Marandola via unanimous decision at Reality Fighting Annihilation. He defeated Eric Brown via TKO in the first round. Rebello defeated his next three opponents via decision which included wins over Chris Canale and Jerry Spiegel. He defeated Anthony Dick via TKO in round one at XCFL 2. Rebello defeated his next two opponents via decision in Tiawan Howard and John Doyle. At CES MMA Road to Glory, he defeated Cody Lightfoot via TKO in round two. Rebello submitted Chris Guillen in the first round via rear naked choke at CES MMA Real Pain. At NEF Fight Night 6 he defeated Jessie Peterson via TKO in round two. Rebello defeated John Doyle via TKO in the second round at CES MMA 20. He defeated J.A. Dudley via unanimous decision at CES MMA 26. Rebello defeated Tyler King via TKO in round three at CES MMA 29. He knocked out Mike Mucitelli in the first round at CES MMA 31. At CES MMA 33 Rebello defeated Keith Bell via TKO in round one. He also defeated Danyelle Williams via TKO in the first round at CES MMA 41. At CES MMA 44, Rebello tapped out Kevin Ray Sears in round three. For the main event of CES MMA 47 he defeated Derrick Brown via TKO in the first round. In the main event of CES MMA 48 Rebello defeated Travis Wiuff via TKO in round one to become the CES MMA heavyweight champion. At DWTNCS 3 on June 26, he will face Oscar Ivan Cota in a heavyweight clash with a potential UFC contract up for grabs. Good luck Greg!
