Brothers of Liberty – featuring CES MMA fighters Jeremiah Wells and Jose Lugo

CES MMA has been the launching pad for many of the leading men of the Northeast United States with many of them going to achieve great things with the UFC from featherweight submission specialist Charles Rosa, the explosive Rob Font and The Ultimate Fighter season 23 alumni Eric Spicely just to name a few. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet two red-hot rockets who are lighting up CES MMA with their electrifying arsenals.

Jeremiah Wells – A professional since October 2012 and representing Renzo Gracie Philly and Extreme Evolution Fight Camp, Jeremiah Wells owns a 5-1-1 record in six career bouts as a professional comprised of two knockouts, two submissions one decision and a draw. Wells is currently 2-0 under the CES MMA banner and has also fought for Cage Fury Fighting Championships. In his MMA debut at PA Cage Fight 14, he defeated Quinton Stephens via TKO in the first round. Wells submitted Scott Hudson in the second round via rear naked choke at PA Cage Fight 16. In his debut outing with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 44, he tapped out Bradley Desir via rear naked choke in round two. For his debut outing with CES MMA at CES MMA 49 Wells knocked out submission specialist Gary Balletto Jr in the first round. In his second appearance with CES MMA at CES MMA 50, he defeated The Ultimate Fighter season 16 alumni Jon Manley via unanimous decision. For the headlining event of CES MMA 52 on August 17, Wells will face Jason Norwood for the CES MMA welterweight title. CES MMA 52 will also mark the promotion’s first trip to the city of Philadelphia. Good luck Jeremiah!

Jose Lugo – A professional since November 2017 and representing BST MMA and Fitness, Jose Lugo holds a perfect 3-0 record comprised of two submissions and one knockout. All three of Lugo’s victories as a professional have come under the CES MMA banner. In his MMA debut at CES MMA 47, he submitted Michael Taylor via rear naked choke in the first round. At CES MMA 49 Lugo defeated Carlos Rodriguez Jr via TKO in the second round. For his third outing with CES MMA at CES MMA 50, he faced Michael Taylor for the second time and tapped him out via rear naked choke in round two to extend his perfect streak to begin his professional career. This high flying Eastern rocket is soaring through the ranks!
