Brown also defeated his next two opponents in Deartie Tucker IIIΒ andΒ Latral Perdue.Β Then at Off The Chain MMA 8, he facedΒ Tyrone PaigeΒ and tapped him out in round one via arm-triangle choke. Brown would go on to defeat his next three foes that included wins over Rodney AllisonΒ and Francisco Olivera.Β He submittedΒ Tyler SmithΒ via rear-naked choke in the first round at 360 fight club 1. Brown also defeated Kevin Henry.Β At Cage Titans 36 he facedΒ Peter BarrettΒ and tapped him out via arm-triangle choke in round three. Brown defeated Edwin WilliamsΒ in the first round at GCF 8. He also submittedΒ CJay HunterΒ in the first round via arm-triangle choke in the headliner of Pyramid Fights 11. For his lone outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 67 Brown knocked out Ken Beverly in round one.
In the opening contest of DWTNCS 10, he faced northeastern finisher Dylan Lockard and went on to submit him via arm-triangle choke in the third round to earn the ninth submission victory of his professional career along with a UFC contract.
