Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Josh Fremd

Any and everybody who is a fan of mixed martial arts loves a good comeback story with a happy ending. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a surging avalanche ready to freeze out LFA middleweights in a cascade of ice-cold rage. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2017 and representing Factory X, Josh Fremd holds a 5-1 record in six bouts as a professional comprised of two knockouts, two submissions, and one decision. Prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 89 in August 2020, Fremd fought for several promotions including Bellator MMA. He has gone on to score a finish in four out of his five victories thus far as a pro-MMA fighter and is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance. Fremd has made it onto the scorecards once during his time as a professional mixed martial artist so far with a single first-round finish and three round two finishes.

In his MMA debut at Iron Tiger Fight Series 74, he faced Warren Roberds and went on to defeat him via TKO in the second round. Fremd submitted Ryan Parker in round two via rear-naked choke in his lone appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 186. Then at Made Men Promotions Rivers Rumble MMA, he tapped out Andre Hall via rear-naked choke in the second round. At Pinnacle Fighting Championships 18 Fremd defeated Travis Davis via split decision to pick up his decision victory as a professional.

In his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 89, he knocked out Lamar Gosey in the first round. The win earned Fremd the second knockout victory of his professional career along with his first win under the LFA banner. Standing at 5-1 with an 80 percent finish rate, Fremd will entomb any foe in an icy coffin if they have a judgemental lapse in the cage!
