The opening night of ‘THE TRILOGY’ this Friday 14th September has been made official, with all athletes making weight in Manchester today.
In the main event, reigning flyweight champion Samir Faiddine weighed in at 123.4 lbs, with the challenger Luke Shanks following precisely on the championship limit of 125 lbs.
Faiddine took to the scales in phenomenal shape, having completed his championship fight camp at Paris’ MMA Factory – the same gym that produced top UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou.
More flyweight talent stacks the card earlier in the night, with unbeaten prospect Jake Hadley (125.9 lbs) and Shaj Haque (125.6 lbs) competing in the co-main event, and Coner Hignett (125.1 lbs) and Adam Amarasinghe (124.8 lbs) opening up the main card.
These bouts make up one of the strongest periods for the flyweight division in Cage Warriors history.
Elsewhere on the card, Welterweight contenders Aaron Khalid (169.7 lbs) and Mick Stanton (170.5 lbs) will look to take a step further toward the title, and unbeaten prospect Oban Elliott returns to action against Michal Figlak.
Cage Warriors 114, 115 and 116 will take place across three consecutive nights on the 24th, 25th and 26th September in ‘THE TRILOGY’, one of the company’s most ambitious projects to date. The events will take place behind-closed-doors at the BEC Arena in Manchester, broadcast to millions worldwide on UFC Fight Pass and a host of broadcast partners across the globe.
