Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Aaron McKenzie

As LFA looks ahead to 2021, prospects across all divisions will be tasked with taking a leap of faith as they make a charge towards the upper tiers. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a surging sooner ready to enter the war zone as one of the promotion’s top lightweight soldiers. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2012 and representing War Room MMA and Lovato’s School of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, Aaron McKenzie owns a 9-2-1 record through 11 professional fights comprised of four knockouts, four submissions, one decision, and a draw. McKenzie fought for several promotions including Bellator MMA prior to making his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 88 in August 2020. He has finished eight out of his nine victories in his career thus far as a pro-MMA fighter and is currently 2-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance.

In his MMA debut, he faced Jose Martinez and went on to defeat him via TKO in the second round. McKenzie defeated his next three foes that included wins over Brandon Wright and Justin Overton. Then at HD MMA 14, he tapped out Raymond Banda in the second round via rear-naked choke. McKenzie defeated Ago Huskic via TKO in round two in the main event of HD MMA 15. At Bellator 233, he submitted Sean Clements via rear-naked choke in round two.

For his promotional debut under the LFA banner at LFA 88, McKenzie tapped out Brazil’s Glaucio Elizario in the first round via rear-naked choke to pick up his fourth submission win as a professional. He defeated submission specialist Joe Gianetti via unanimous decision at LFA 94. The victory earned McKenzie the first decision win of his professional career along with back to back wins under the LFA banner. With pulverizing finishing power and the toughness of steel, McKenzie is one solider whose aim always rings true!
