Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Chase Gipson

Dealing with grief in a constructive way often helps fighters find their inner selves. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a cowboy of the coast ready to strap on the saddle with veteran savvy and toughened grit. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2014 and representing CMAA, Chase Gipson owns a 10-5 record through 15 professional fights comprised of four submissions, four knockouts, and two decisions. Gipson appeared on week five during season four of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2020. He competed for several promotions including Combate Americas prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 94 in October 2020. Gipson is currently 1-0 under the LFA banner and has finished eight out of his 10 wins in his career thus far as a pro-MMA fighter.

In his MMA debut, he submitted David Hernandez in the first round via rear-naked choke. Gipson defeated his next two foes in Fard Muhammad and AJ Bryant. Then at TPF 29, he defeated Adam Calderon via unanimous decision. Gipson defeated Serob Minasyan via unanimous decision at CXF 7 Locked and Loaded. He knocked out Jeff Martin in round one at CXF 9. At California Cage Wars 9, Gipson defeated Chris Chavez via TKO in the first round. He defeated Clinton Barnes via TKO in round one at California Cage Wars 17 to earn his fourth knockout win as a professional. Gipson tapped out Daniel Caballero via rear-naked choke in the first round.

For his debut fight under the LFA banner at LFA 94, he submitted Thai Clark in the second round via brabo choke. The victory earned Gipson the fourth submission win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process. With an 80 percent finish rate, this cowboy is taking foes for a walk on the wild side that they won’t forget any time soon!
