Jon Jones (20-1) went under the knife for the first time in his career on Thursday due to a torn meniscus in his knee, and it seems surgery was successful as Jones took to his official Instagram account to share a video update on how he’s feeling.
The UFC light heavyweight champion was forced out of a highly anticipated UFC 178 title defence against Daniel Cormier (15-0) though the bout has now been rescheduled.
UFC 182 on January. 3 will now host the rescheduled title fight as Jones is expected to make a complete recovery and will finally settle his grudge with Cormier.
