UFC 182 took place this past Saturday, Jan. 3, at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones earned the top disclosed payday. Jones earned $500,000 and Daniel Cormier earned $90,000 he would have received another $90,000 as a win bonus if he defeated Jon Jones. The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the following payouts, the total disclosed payroll for the event was $1.3 million.
As usual these are just the base salaries they do not include such things as taxes, insurance and licenses.Also fighter receive pay from sponsors, which can lead to a huge jump in a fighters income and some who also receive PPV revenue.
