Dale Percival, the man behind made 4 the cage has managed to put together a fight card that no Northeast MMA fan will want to miss. Headlining the event will be Ryan Scope (9-0) vs Jack Marshman (16-5-0) for the European middleweight title. Many consider Scope to be one of the best upcoming prospects in the Northeast MMA scene and after a layoff due to injury he faces a tough test in the more experienced Jack Marshman, who is looking to get his 3rd straight victory in a row after 2 recent impressive wins.
The co-main event sees the Irish prospect Ryan Roddy (7-1) take on another upcoming fighter Chris Fishgold (10-1) in what will be a great test for both men. Fishgold is coming off the first loss of his professional career and will no doubt be looking to get back to winning ways.
Also on the card Curt Warburton (13-6-0) will face off against Warren Kee (7-4-1) as they meet at a catchweight of 165lbs. Both men are coming off losses and will be looking to get back to winning ways. Don’t expect this one to go to the judges.
Another great matchup on the card is Sunderlands Andrew Fisher (13-7-1) vs Alexander Jacobson (3-1) from Norway in a lightweight bout. Jacobsen will be looking to get a good win over the more experienced Fisher, but it won’t come easy.
Also on the card we will see Ferryhills big hitter Kyle Redfearn (8-7-0) take on undefeated Marcin Protsko (4-0) in a welterweight fight. This should be a great fight and a really good test for both men. Don’t blink.
We will also see South Shields young prospect Adam Proctor (3-0) take on Perry Goodwin (2-2) in a professional welterweight fight. Proctor trains out of Sixth Sense MMA, ran by CWFC featherweight champion Alex Enlund and is considered as someone to watch out for in the future. Perry Goodwin is coming from 2 good wins and will be looking to keep the winning streak going. It should be a great fight.
Also on this stacked card we have Newcastles Paul Gregson (3-3) vs Edvin Edholm (1-2-0), Durhams Luke Ord (1-0-1) vs Karl Longden (0-1-0), David Stone (5-9-0) vs Mikey Hogarth (1-1-0), Torbjorn Madsen 1-0-0 vs. Stephen Fairbairn 0-0-0,.
Also on the card there’s a Amateur undercard with some of the top amateurs competing, we’ve got TBC. vs. Jed Ramshaw 5-0-0 for the UAR Welterweight title and also Dean Begg 6-2-0. vs Sam Robinson 3-0-1 for the UAR Bantamweight title. Roker Rough House fighter Jason Bailey 1-1-0. will take on James Hendin 1-1-0 in a UAR lighweight battle. We will see Daniel Morland 1-0-0 vs. Andrew Gough 0-1-0 in a bantamweight bout also.
This card promises to be one of the best that the Northeast have seen in a long time with a lot of hometown favourites fighting on the same night. Any MMA fan will be looking forward to this one as some huge talent and some experienced veterans go head to head.
