BAMMA 23: Night Of Champions just got BIGGER! We can now announce the addition of the next title fight, as the BAMMA Lightweight Title is put on the line, with Number one contender Martin ‘.50 Cal’ Stapleton facing Gavin ‘War Horse’ Sterritt for the vacant title.

Martin ‘.50 Cal’ Stapleton (16-4)​ has been on a tear since signing on the dotted line with BAMMA last year. Dispatching both Sebastien Fournier in his debut at BAMMA 17 and the ultra tough Jeremy ‘Ninja’ Petley in a brutal war at BAMMA 19 – which is already being tipped for fight of the year honours. Stapleton has been calling for his shot at the title​ for a while now​ and ​he ​has finally been granted his wish. With one of the most exciting fighting styles on the BAMMA roster, expect fireworks come the Night Of The Champions!

Gavin ‘War Horse’ Sterritt (6-1)​ signs on the dotted line with BAMMA and steps into the front line straight away with the title shot. Unbeaten in 7 years​,​ Sterritt is on a 6 fight win streak with his only loss coming in his debut. The Wolfslair fighter brings with him the experience and expertise of this legendary gym, and has none other than Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as his training partner and corner. With a ‘never say die’ attitude that earned him the ‘War Horse’ moniker, the majority of his wins have come via way of submission.

There will be No Retreat and No Surrender attitude come fight night from both of these warriors, potentially making this one of the standout fights of the year.
