The Nevada State Athletic Commission reduced its penalty against Diaz after a settlement agreement during a meeting. Diaz will be suspended 18 months and fined $100,000 in his marijuana case, which came from a positive test at UFC 183 on Jan. 31, 2015,
As part of the reduction of his sentence, Diaz will have to submit clean urine samples 30, 15 and 3 days before his next fight in Nevada.
This means Diaz should be able to fight again from august the 1st.
