Mario (8-2) who trains at Team Trojan will be making his BAMMA debut and is looking forward to putting on a fight for the fans.
‘I have been training really hard and I’m finally on a BAMMA card so I can’t wait to showcase my skills and put my opponent away quick’

His opponent Myles Price (8-6) who Is coming off a close loss to Kane Mousah returned to MMA after a 20 month lay off to immerse himself in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is looking to showcase his skills at BAMMA 24. When asked about his thoughts on the fight Mario commented:
“It’s a good match up for me… I’m going to put him away. He loves to grapple; he likes to go to the ground a lot… if you check on my record I finish everyone on the ground… if he takes me to the ground he will be mistaken that’s for sure”
Prior to his last fight with Azi Thomas, Mario suffered a serious neck injury and following that fight was out for 18 months. After the fight Mario received 7 stitches on his neck and ended up paralyzed completely losing the power to his right hand. “I’ve been through hell to get back to the cage… fighting is in my blood”.
Mario, who only fought 6 weeks ago says he is looking to stay active, prior to his injury he was fighting 4-5 times a year. “I’m fit and healthy, this is the first time I’m actually healthy in the beginning of the camp and I feel good, I cannot wait literally to go to BAMMA and put this guy away.”
