Mark ‘The Hand Of’ Godbeer Vs. Stuart ‘He-Man’ Austin – BAMMA Heavyweight Title

Having just signed a new multi-fight deal with BAMMA, Godbeer commented:

“Im really glad to be signing back with BAMMA after a lot of personal issues and financial difficulties. Bamma has really stepped up to help and look after me as a fighter and their HW champion, so I can continue with the career I love without the stress and worry. The best of me is yet to come… I’m happy to be back in the game”

BAMMA Heavyweight Champion Mark ‘The Hand Of’ Godbeer (10-2) now faces his former Team Trojan training partner and Lonsdale Heavyweight Champion Stuart ‘He-Man’ Austin in his return. The Bridgewater Bomber is known for his high tempo and savage striking style, and will be planning to defend the title he fought so hard to win in 2015. The All or Nothing Team fighter will bring a renewed vigour as he makes his hotly anticipated return at the Barclaycard Arena, the same venue in which he defeated Paul ‘Titan’ Taylor to win the title.

After winning the Lonsdale Title at BAMMA 23: Night Of Champions, Stuart ‘He-Man’ Austin (10-2) knew that he and Godbeer were set on a collision course. After a big win over the highly touted Tom Aspinall, Austin then claimed the Lonsdale Title by defeating the heavy handed Tom Denham and immediately set his sights on winning the BAMMA title. The Team Titan fighter is not afraid of standing toe to toe with his opponent in the middle of the ring and vowed ‘never to lose again’ after his bout against Aspinall. A promise he intends to keep at BAMMA 25 as champion goes up against champion.

With similar styles, identical records and a history as training partners, get ready for this huge battle between two of Europe’e leading Heavyweights.
