BAMMA have announced the signing of Ronnie ‘Iron’ Mann to a multi fight deal with the promotion. Hot on the heels of the announcement that Paul ‘Redser’ Redmond had joined the promotion, it can now be revealed that International Featherweight Mann has also joined the BAMMA promotion.
Ronnie ‘Iron’ Mann (24-8-1) from Cheltenham, Gloucester is the head coach and owner of Iron Mann MMA. The outstanding featherweight holds notable victories over Ashleigh Grimshaw, Steve McCoombe & Aaron ‘Smackwell’ Blackwell in his extensive MMA career thus far. Mann has returned to his home at Featherweight after recently fighting at Bantamweight, and will be looking to make an immediate impact in the Featherweight division and put himself in line for a shot at the title that is currently held by French phenom, Tom ‘Firekid’ DuQuesnoy.
Mann’s first opponent will be announced in the coming weeks as the BAMMA promotion builds on its impressive start to 2016. With a Featherweight division that gets deeper by the day, the addition of Ronnie Mann once again puts down a marker that BAMMA is the place to be in European MMA in 2016.
“I am really excited to join the BAMMA roster ,especially as this will be back at my original 145lb weight class. I am fully motivated and looking forward to be in some really tough battles and getting some big wins. 2016 is my year. Huge thanks to Jude Samuel for this opportunity to compete in the best promotion in Europe.” – Ronnie ‘Iron’ Mann
