Bellator 173 / BAMMA 28 Press Conference, SSE Arena, Belfast, Thursday 2nd Feb

Thursday February 2nd 2017 at 2pm
Venue name: SSE Arena, Belfast

Two of the world’s leading MMA promotions, Bellator & BAMMA combine forces once more to bring Belfast a show of titanic proportions as we present our second co-promoted event on Friday February 24th 2017 from the SSE Arena.

In Bellator’s headline fight former champion Liam McGeary takes on Irish MMA legend Chris Fields in a Light Heavyweight showdown, and a massive BAMMA main event sees Belfast’s own ‘Stormin’ Norman Parke clash with Dublin’s Paul ‘Redser’ Redmond.

The night will also feature the return of undefeated Irish stars James Gallagher and Sinead Kavanagh from the famed Straight Blast Gym in Dublin, and the interim BAMMA Flyweight title is on the line as the Northern Irish fan favourite Andy Young takes on one of England’s hottest prospects in Dominique Wooding.
Boosted by supporting undercards stacked with local and international talent, the second collaboration between Bellator and BAMMA promises to be a historic night.
