Victory Fights 14th October 2017 Preview

Ex-pro mma fighter, competing in Bamma and UCMMA, and main sparring partner for Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson for his UFC 123 fight against Lyoto Machida training camp, Kenny Moyston has turned his hand to fight promoting.

The resulting promotion company is called Victory Fights and their latest card will take place at Brighton racecourse on Saturday October 14th.

Being headlined by a four man professional heavyweight K1 tournament, the card is a hybrid of professional and amateur kickboxing, MMA and boxing bouts featuring the best fighters from the Southern area and the rest of the UK.

The K1 tournament will see Oli Thompson, a professional MMA fighter who has fought for the UFC, Bellator and Bamma, make his K1 debut in a competition that is sure to see bombs being thrown from all angles.

He will be competing against the number six ranked K1 heavyweight fighter, Kerone ‘The Monster’ Davis, who fights out of the lauded striking gym KO: Next Generation, located in South London.

Also fighting in the tournament will be the Polish giant Tomasz Czerwinski, who is coming off his 15 second TKO of John Painter at Celtic Gladiator 12, and Nasar Khan, who is fighting out of Birmingham based Fearless MMA.

The two fighters met last year in July where Khan successfully defeated Czerwinski by TKO due to leg strikes to win the King of the Ring K1 European title.

Proceeding the tournament is a pro Bantamweight MMA bout between the undefeated amateur making his pro debut and highly touted UK MMA prospect Adam Amarasinghe, coming off his gold medal finish for Team UK at the 2017 IMMAF European Championships, against Alexandre Bilobrovka, who is yet to win a pro MMA fight but is looking to change that with his drop to bantamweight from featherweight.

Also of note is a K1 rematch between Ako Murata and Laura Evans.

Their previous battle ended in a close split decision victory for Murata and Evans will be looking for revenge.
