Donald Cerrone known by his nickname “Cowboy” is showing that he’s looking forward to putting on a once again terrific display of skills against his former training partner Mike “Platinum” Perry this Saturday at, UFC Fight Night Denver.
Veteran Cerrone (33-10 MMA) is looking ahead to being able to tutor Perry (12-3 MMA) in the word of respect.
However, Donald is now 35 and is not the highlight reel fighter he once was. Hoping that he can make it back into the winning columns after losing his last bout against 27-year-old sensation Leon “Rocky” Edwards at UFC Fight Night 132.
The loss marked the fourth loss in his last five appearances inside the UFC octagon.
As for the 27-year-old, Mike Perry is showing he’s more than capable of being a contender in the stacked 170lbs (Welterweight) division.
He has just snapped his two-fight losing streak, (Santiago Ponzinibbio, Max Griffin) on July 7th where he defeated Paul Felder in an all-out epic brawl and will surely be a fight to remember in the coming years for MMA fans.

Cerrone is tied with, Sam Alvey, for the most fights in a 12-month span (6).
He is also tied with, Anderson Silva & Vitor Belfort, for the most finishes in UFC history (14) and tied with, Georges St-Pierre & Michael Bisping, for the most wins in UFC history (20).
