Welsh-born bantamweight Jack ‘Tank’ Shore earned his first title and retained his undefeated record in front a home crowd at the ICE Arena in Cardiff, Wales at Cage Warriors 100 on Saturday 8th Decemeber 2018.

Now 10-0 as a professional Jack Shore earned the belt by TKO victory (Round 3, 4:07) over Mike Ekundayo ‘Airlines’ who was also coming into this fight undefeated (7-fight win streak as a pro).

Shore won the fight with his smothering, heavy wrestling eventually leading to the referee stopping the fight during a ground-and-pound assault from top position.

Ekundayo – who trains out of Titan with Brad Pickett – spent the largest part of this fight successfully fending off submission attempts from Shore with a few attempts at a Rear Naked Choke coming dangerously close to locking in. However, the grappling wore out Ekundayo and left him no longer able to defend himself.

The crowd went wild in celebration of Shore‘s victory and he used his in-cage interview to thank his father (who trains in Abertillery, Wales) and his family, the fans for their support and Ekundayo for pushing him to be his best. Also he said, in reference to his critics: “What can they say now?”
