Across The Pond Profile: CES MMA fighter William Knight

Many promotion’s stocks have risen to an all-time high during the first three seasons of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a ruthless hammer of the northeast whose knockout power has his opponents screaming with terror in their hearts. A professional since May 2018 and representing Thornton Martial Arts and Fitness, William Knight owns an undefeated 6-0 record with all six of his victories as a professional coming via knockout. Knight appeared on week eight of season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019 and has also competed with various MMA promotions in the northeastern United States including CES MMA. Knight has gone on to finish all six of his wins in his professional career thus far.

In his MMA debut at Reality Fighting, he faced Tom Velasquez and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. Knight also defeated Terrance Jean Jacques via TKO in round two at Premier FC 26. Then at Premier FC 27, he defeated Walter Howard via TKO in the first round. Knight defeated Kevin Haley via TKO in round one in his debut appearance with CES MMA at CES MMA 54. In the main event slot of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series eight he faced Herdem Alacabek and went on to defeat him via TKO in the third round.

For his second outing with CES MMA, Knight faced DWTNCS season one alumni Jamelle Jones and defeated him in the first round at CES MMA 59 to earn back to back wins with CES MMA. The win also earned Knight the sixth knockout victory of his professional career. With an unbeaten record and a 100 per cent knockout rate, Knight has the type of power that nightmares are made of and could give the UFC a serious scare they will never forget!
