A professional since November 2013 and representing Westside MMA, TJ Brown owns a 14-6 record in 20 bouts as a professional comprised of nine submissions, one decision and four knockouts. Brown earned his UFC contract on week 10 of season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019 and has also competed with various promotions including Legacy Fighting Alliance.
He submitted Adrian Walker via arm-triangle choke in the second round at Off The Chain MMA 6. Brown also defeated his next two opponents in Deartie Tucker III and Latral Perdue. Then at Off The Chain MMA 8, he faced Tyrone Paige and tapped him out in round one via arm-triangle choke. Brown would go on to defeat his next three foes that included wins over Rodney Allison and Francisco Olivera. He submitted Tyler Smith via rear-naked choke in the first round at 360 fight club 1. Brown also defeated Kevin Henry. At Cage Titans 36 he faced Peter Barrett and tapped him out via arm-triangle choke in round three. Brown defeated Edwin Williams in the first round at GCF 8. He also submitted CJay Hunter in the first round via arm-triangle choke in the headliner of Pyramid Fights 11. For his lone outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 67 Brown knocked out Ken Beverly in round one.
In the opening contest of DWTNCS 10, he faced northeastern finisher Dylan Lockard and went on to submit him via arm-triangle choke in the third round to earn the ninth submission victory of his professional career along with a UFC contract. With Bryce Mitchell already sending shockwaves through the UFC, the bond between these two razorbacks is getting ever stronger with every passing moment!
