A professional mixed martial artist since August 2012 and representing Factory X, Brandon Royval owns an 11-4 professional record in 15 fights comprised of seven submissions, three knockouts, and one decision. Prior to debuting in the UFC at UFC On ESPN 9 in May 2020, Royval fought for Legacy Fighting Alliance and has finished 10 of his 11 victories have only made it to the judges once in his pro-MMA career.
In his MMA debut, he defeated Sammy Rind via TKO in the first round. Royval submitted Joey Welch via triangle choke in round one at SCL Mile High Mayhem. Then at WSOF 29, he knocked out Danny Mainus in the first round. Royval tapped out his next two opponents in Rakan Adwan and Angel Hernandez. At LFA 22 he submitted Demetrius Wilson via triangle choke in the second round. Royval defeated Jerome Rivera via TKO in round one at LFA 39. At LFA 48 he defeated Charles Johnson via unanimous decision to earn his first and only decision win as a professional. In the headliner of LFA 65, Royval took on DWTNCS season one alumni and UFC veteran Joby Sanchez and tapped him out in the first round via armbar. He submitted Nate Williams via armbar in round one in the main event of LFA 79.
For his debut outing with the UFC at UFC on ESPN 9, Royval faced Tim Elliott and tapped him out via arm-triangle choke in the second round to capture the seventh submission victory of his professional career along with his first UFC win and a Fight of the Night bonus on top of it.
