“After 12 years I’ve decided to part ways with the UFC to explore free agency.”
Pettis also tanked Dana White and other staff and also the fans in his statement but didn’t reveal where he might end up going in the future.
The former Lightweight Champion also said his time in UFC was a ‘wild ride’. ‘Showtime’ also noted that he received many opportunities outside the octagon due to his time in the UFC such as his Wheaties deal, appearances on MTV, and much more.
