Mohammed Said Maalem confident of being the heir to the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight throne

In order for a fighter to make it in mixed martial arts, few qualities are more desired than confidence. Knowing how to execute your game plan and having the confidence to enter the cage and actually do it requires years of hard work, mentally and physically.

One of the Light Heavyweight division’s top contenders at BRAVE CF, Mohammed Said Maalem has been there and done that and is now ready to reap the rewards and claim his throne as the top Light Heavyweight on the roster.

Said Maalem is on the verge of fighting for a BRAVE CF title, and has set his sights on challenging the current Middleweight champion Mohammad Fakhreddine for the 93kg belt and is counting on his confidence to come out with a new, shiny belt – even if his opponent is not ‘’The Latest’’.

The Algerian Juggernaut has proved he belongs at BRAVE CF with two aggressive performances which earned him the two biggest victories of his career. On his promotional debut, at BRAVE CF 33, he derailed the hype of Todd Stoute, dominating the Trinidadian fighter, en route to a unanimous decision win.

Less than a year later, he returned to action, once again against a fighter full of hype. After suffering with the technical prowess of Zvonimir Kralj early on, Said Maalem remained focused, adjusted his game plan and earned a first-round TKO – and probably a title shot in the process.

Confidence and knowledge have played a huge role in Mohammed Said Maalem’s rise to stardom. It remains to be seen if it will be enough for him to land the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight title – but he sure is ready for the opportunity.
