UFC Debut confirmed for Paddy Pimblett on September 4th, takes on Luigi Vendramini

Since Paddy Pimblett signed with the UFC back in March, fans have anticipated news of his debut with the organisation, hoping for an answer with every interview he appeared on.

Well, fans don’t have to wait much longer as The Baddy signed a bout agreement on Thursday, 8th July. That same day Pimblett appeared on an Instagram Live with BT Sports Ariel Helwani and UFC fighter Darren Till who attempted to pull an answer from Pimblett. The only thing Pimblett confirmed was a date – September 4th.

A day later, news began circulating about a new opponent in the form of Luigi Vendramini. Pimblett confirmed the news by Quote Tweeting MMA On Point stating, ‘Looks like someone couldn’t wait to tell everyone he’s fighting the bad man🙄🤷🏼‍♂️ what can I say 🤗’

Pimblett’s most recent outing at Cage Warriors 122 had him defeating Davide Martinez in a spectacular fashion which took his win streak to two in a row.

Vendramini last fought at UFC 263: Adesanya vs Vettori where he dropped a majority decision loss to Fares Ziam.

Are you looking forward to seeing The Baddy in the UFC gloves? What are your early predictions?
