“Paddy The Baddy” and Barstool Sports Partner In Seven-Figure Deal

IFM is proud to announce the former Cage Warriors champion and current UFC Lightweight, Paddy “The Babby” Pimblett has inked a multi-year, seven-figure deal with the US digital sports and lifestyle giant Barstool Sports.

Pimblett, a nine-year, 20 fight veteran of the MMA scene has risen through the ranks since making his pro debut at just 17 years old. Having gone viral on numerous occasions due to his highlight reel submissions, Pimblett has also created a buzz on social media due to his charismatic nature and interviews as well as being a staunch defender of his home city of Liverpool.

The 26-year-old Liverpudlian crossed over to the mainstream when he won his UFC debut in sensational style against the Brazilian Luigi Vendramini on the UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Till card in Las Vegas a month ago, which was shown live on ESPN+. Since then, Pimblett’s fame has grown rapidly with his Instagram account @paddythebaddyufc attracting over 700,000 followers.

When asked for his thoughts on “The Baddy” the Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy said, “I couldn’t be more excited about this partnership. Barstool Sports has never signed or even tried to sign a professional athlete before. The second I saw Paddy “The Baddy” I knew he was perfect for us. I can’t wait to watch him beat ass and talk his talk.  Everybody is in for the ride of a lifetime”.

Paddy “The Baddy” brings with him the loyal UK and growing US fan base due to his in-cage performances. The passionate Liverpool FC supporter is the perfect fit for Barstool Sports as he looks to grow his brand in the US and open new avenues for Barstool.

“This is a great partnership for both Paddy & Barstool Sports”, says Pimblett’s manager Graham Boylan.  “I have been inundated with partnership requests for ‘The Baddy’ but this one is exciting. We are putting the two ‘cool kids’ in their respective industries together and it has fireworks written all over it”.

“Barstool Sports for me, is the perfect fit,” admits Paddy. “I’ve had a lot of offers on the table for partnerships but for me, Barstool was the one. In the short time I’ve had with the team they are easy-going, fun to work with and I can’t wait to start delivering football (soccer) & fight news as well as my Barstool picks”.
