Across The Pond Profile: UFC fighter Darian Weeks

Short-notice replacements are no shock in the world of mixed martial arts. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a prowling wolf of the show me state ready to make UFC welterweights howl in utter agony with his hunt or be hunted fighting style. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2019 and representing Huelett House MMA, Darian Weeks owns a 5-1 record through six professional bouts comprised of four knockouts and one submission. Weeks fought for several promotions including Legacy Fighting Alliance prior to making his debut with the UFC at UFC On ESPN 31 in December 2021. He has finished all five of his wins over the course of his career thus far as a pro-MMA fighter. 100 percent of his finishes during his time as a professional mixed martial artist have come inside the distance so far.

In his MMA debut at Midwest Fight League Fight Night 10, he faced Zack Long and went on to defeat him via TKO in the second round. Weeks also defeated Travis Ford via TKO in round one at KCFA 34 fight 4 the troops. Then at KCFA 36, he defeated Blyne Richards via rear-naked choke in the second round. Weeks defeated Dustin Parrish via TKO in round two at the Midwest Fight League battle at fairgrounds Sedalia.

In his one and only appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 99, he defeated Craig Fairley via TKO in the second round. The victory earned Weeks the fourth knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up his lone victory under the LFA banner in the process. At 5-1, Weeks is one wolf whose sharp bite is just as fearsome as his blood-chilling howl!
