Fighting out of Liverpool, England, Tom Aspinall enters his first main event for the promotion riding a seven-fight win streak. Holding an 11-2 professional record, the 28-year-old boasts a sensational 4-0 UFC record. Including a TKO stoppage of Jake Collier on his UFC debut at UFC Fight Island 3, Aspinall has won all 4 UFC bouts via stoppage; his three other victories include Alan Baudot (TKO), Andrei Arlovski (Submission), and Sergey Spivak (TKO). Aspinall, affiliated with Team Kaobon Liverpool, has earned 3 ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses with the promotion.
Alexander ‘Drago’ Volkov made his UFC debut on November 19th 2016 at UFC Fight Night 99, earning a split decision victory over Timothy Johnson; the 33-year-old holds an 8-3 promotional record. Fighting out of Moscow, Russia, Volkov last fought at UFC 267, defeating Marcin Tybura via unanimous decision. The bout marked a return to winning form, having previously lost to Ciryl Gane via unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 30. The bout with Aspinall at UFC Fight Night 204 will be the Russians sixth UFC main event.
