Arnold Allen Welcomes Dan Hooker Back To 145lbs at UFC London

A thrilling UFC Featherweight contest between Arnold Allen and Dan Hooker has been announced for UFC Fight Night 204 in London, March 19th.

Born in Suffolk, England, Arnold ‘Almighty’ Allen made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 69, June 20th 2015, defeating Alan Omer via submission and earning a deserved ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus. The 28-year-old last fought April 10th 2021 at UFC Vegas 23, where he secured a hard fought unanimous decision victory over Sodiq Yusuff. With an undefeated 8-0 promotional record, Allen enters UFC Fight Night 204 riding a ten fight win-streak.

Following a kimura submission loss to Islam Makhachev at UFC 267, Dan ‘The Hangman’ Hooker posted a brief video to his Twitter profile weighing in at 146lbs. Captioned “45 look alive”, Hooker indicated a return to 145lbs after 12 bouts at Lightweight. Fighting out of Auckland, New Zealand, the 31-year-old indeed made his promotional debut at Featherweight, defeating Ian Entwistle via TKO at UFC Fight Night 43, June 28th 2014. Hooker last fought at Featherweight in November 2016, where a loss to Jason Knight took his 145lbs UFC record to 3-3. Affiliated with renowned City Kickboxing, Hooker enters UFC Fight Night 204 with an 11-7 promotional record.
