PFL CEO Peter Murray today announced an exclusive deal has been struck between the PFL and Channel 4 to air their fights in the UK. This is a huge step forward for MMA in the UK as there are now 2 huge promotions accesible for free, with Bellator also airing on BBC iPlayer.

PFL and Boxing star Claressa Shields, fresh from her dominant win over Ema Kozin, was present at the event as well as a slew of huge names in the UK MMA scene, former UFC and current PFL lightweight Stevie Ray, UFC legend Dan Hardy and top referee Marc Goddard were just some of the names in attendance.
Dan Hardy spoke of the deals importance to grass roots MMA being able to bring much needed “Legitimacy and professionalism” to a lot of fighters who otherwise wouldn’t be able to get it “if you’re locked into a season and you know you’ve got fights, you stay on the ball”
The regular PFL season gets underway April 20th of this year.
