Akonne “The Jedi” Wanliss and former UFC fighter Tom Breese have both been crowned World Champions after fighting in the Levels Fight League 5 in Amsterdam, screened live on MMA TV and still available to view.

Both train at the Team Renegade BJJ & MMA gym in Birmingham, which is also home to Leon Edwards. As I’m sure you know, he fights for the UFC world title in less than 2 months.

@akonnewanliss is the new lightweight World Champion after Albanian opponent Manuel Gaxhja submitted in the 3rd round. Akonne is an ex Bellator fighter and also a stripper with The Chocolate Men and The Dreamboys. He was on this year’s Language Of Love on ITV with Davina McCall.

@breesemma beat Egyptian Ahmed Sami to become the new middleweight World Champion. Tom is an 8 fight UFC veteran, he has an impressive 5-3 record against the toughest fighters. He has never lost outside of the UFC with a 14-3 career record. He has suffered with his mental health in the past but has overcome this to become World Champion.
