LFA is one promotion that is always stirring the pot when it comes to snatching up talent for their international gumbo. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a sabretooth of shimmering ice ready to erase the chill in the co-main event of LFA 139 on August 19. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2017 and representing Maximum Training Centre, Tony Laramie holds a 6-2 record through eight bouts as a professional comprised of three knockouts and three decisions. Laramie fought for numerous promotions in his home nation of Canada including TKO MMA prior to making his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 120 in December 2021. He is 1-0 under the LFA banner and has finished three out of his six victories overall during his time in the professional ranks. Laramie has gone to the scorecards three times during his career as a pro-MMA fighter, sweeping them clean across the board each time. 100 percent of Laramie’s finishes over the course of his career have come inside the distance.
In his MMA debut at TKO 37 Rivals, he faced Keith Lee and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Laramie defeated Derek Faulk via TKO in round three at TKO 38 Ascension. Then at Prospect Fighting Championships 16, he defeated Sam Debalke via TKO in the second round. Laramie defeated Darren Mima via TKO in round two at Prospect Fighting Championships 11. He defeated Claudio Ledesma via unanimous decision in the main event of Prospect Fighting Championships 13.
In his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 120, Laramie defeated Tyus White via unanimous decision. The victory earned Laramie the third decision win of his professional career along with his first win under the LFA banner in the process. At LFA 139 on August 19, he will take on Rodney Kealohi in a flyweight affair. Good luck Tony!
