Across The Pond Profile: UFC fighter Hailey Cowan

Thanks to Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, many of the sport’s leading lady prospects have realized there is indeed a shining beacon of light at the end of the tunnel with the contract they richly covet. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Waco wrecking ball ready to raise the volume up as the UFC‘S latest female signing. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2018 and representing Blitz MMA, Hailey Cowan holds a 7-2 record over nine bouts comprised of three decisions, two submissions, and two knockouts. Cowan earned her UFC contract on week four during the sixth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Contender Series in 2022. She has also fought for Invicta Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Alliance and has finished four out of her seven wins over the course of her career in the professional ranks.

In her second outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 52, she defeated Sha Whittington via TKO in the first round. Cowan knocked out Jesscia Sotack in round two at LFA 55. Then at LFA 63, she tapped out Sarah Click in the second round via rear-naked choke. Cowan defeated Jessica Middleton via unanimous decision at LFA 73. At LFA 83, she defeated Brittney Cloudy via a split decision. Cowan submitted Monica Franco via rear-naked choke in the second round in her one and only appearance with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 46.

At DWTNCS week four of season six, she defeated Brazil’s Claudia Leite via a split decision. The victory earned Cowan the third decision win of her professional career. She also secured a contract from the UFC in the process. With a shining set of skills and calm under the tightest of pressures, this high flyer of the air is ready to come out roaring when the golden hour comes upon her!
