The great white north has given rise to many an MMA star across the decades. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a lynx of sheer shivers ready to create a white out of snowy destruction as LFA’S top bantamweight polar bear. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2019 and representing Niagra Top Team, Teshay Gouthro owns a 6-1 record through seven bouts as a pro comprised of three knockouts and three decisions. Gouthro has fought for various promotions over the course of his career in the professional ranks including Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has finished three out of his six victories during his journey as a pro-MMA fighter thus far. Gouthro has gone to the scorecards three times over the course of his career. He is 1-1 under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner.

In his MMA debut at BTC 6 Night of Champions, he faced Paul Fisher and defeated him via TKO in the second round. Gouthro defeated Hasmat Sarwary via TKO in round three at Prospect Fighting Championships 11. Then at BTC 8 Elimnator, he defeated Ariel Arellano Zuniga via unanimous decision. Gouthro defeated Kristian Bouchard via TKO in the third round at BTC 13 Power to earn his third knockout win as a professional. He defeated Efren Escareno via unanimous decision via unanimous decision in his only appearance with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 109.

In his second outing under the LFA banner in the co-main event of LFA 139, he defeated Arnold Jimenez via unanimous decision. The victory earned Gouthro the third decision win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the LFA banner in the process. With many of Canada’s top stars already moved onto greener pastures, Gouthro is the latest kingmaker that is in line for a crowning golden moment!
